2024–25 School Calendar


Smith Street Maternelle closely follows the NYC public school calendar, with a few exceptions: we are closed for 2 weeks in December and we finish a week earlier in June. We offer a 6­ week summer camp pro­gram with the same hours available as during the school year.

Please note that Smith Street Maternelle will cancel all classes and close administrative offices for inclement weather whenever the New York City public schools are closed. In rare circumstances, Smith Street Maternelle will make its own determination as to whether it is open or closed.
