Financial Aid

At Smith Street Maternelle, we are committed to diversity and equity, and our tuition assistance program is designed to make education accessible to all applicants for the Moyenne and Grande Sections, regardless of financial circumstances.

We partner with School and Student Services (SSS) for our financial aid process. To apply for financial aid, you will need to complete the SSS financial aid application, also known as the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS), through the SSS Family Portal. By submitting an application, you authorize SSS to analyze your financial information, estimate your contribution to school expenses, and forward that estimate to us. This process allows you to apply for multiple schools with just one application and one fee.

The deadline for submission is December 16, 2024. Applicants are notified of tuition assistance packages when admissions acceptance letters are sent in February.

Access the SSS Application

You can find the SSS application online via the SSS Family Portal. Please use our school code: 200228.

How to Complete the SSS Application

  1. Create your Family Portal account with your email address and a password. If you applied for financial aid last year, log in as a Returning Family using your previous credentials.

  2. Complete the application for the 2025–2026 Academic Year. You can log out and return at any time to finish.

  3. Once all sections are complete, the “Submit & Pay” button will activate. Follow the prompts to proceed to payment. Please note that the $60 fee is nonrefundable and once submitted, your application cannot be withdrawn from the SSS system.
